TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accomplish composite repairs, modifications, on the aircraft and on aircraft components in the shop
- Perform servicing, repair of tools and shop equipment
- The position holder is responsible for signing off work using approved maintenance data
- Coordinate task accomplishment with other team members
- Report all deviations from standard work practices including safety and health items to the Department Head
- Provide hand over to team members and superiors
- Operate ground and shop equipment, according to his/her approval
- Ensure his/her knowledge level is maintained as required for the position (attend mandatory training)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship in a relevant field
- 5-7 years’ experience in composites repairs or manufacturing
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Ability to work in team as well as independently
- Able to work at height
- Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full time position based in Luxembourg
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- Occasional travel may be required
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
- Possess a valid driving license
- Seniority of the position depends on the work experience of the candidate
